The Snow Angels Came

Addie's bedtime prayers on Sunday night started like this--"Dear God, please send snow angels..." Guess what, He did!!!!
Snowman pancakes to start our snow day off...

"Look Mommy, I found Daddy's fire boots! Aren't I cute?"
No sleds but we do have laundry baskets!
Sadie is a great sled (laundry basket) pulling dog!

Guess who helped build the snowman??

WEEEEE...

Playing in the snow, warming up with hot chocolate, movies and popcorn, and homemade vegetable soup...just a few of the reasons WE LOVE SNOW DAYS!!!! Thank you God for sending us your Snow Angels!

MAMO

We finally went to spend some time with the Payne's and meet our newest family member. Let me just tell you that we are in love with this little guy! He is sweeter and cuter in person if you can imagine that!

We just couldn't resist spoiling him a little bit more...
We had to get him his first fire truck!

He is BEAUTIFUL and look at this super cool trike! WOW!
Addie was just as excited to play with Caitlyn as she was to meet Mamo! 2 pretty girls...
He just took Logan's hand and pulled him from place to place. SO SWEET! Logan loved it!
Sam was buried in fun!
Just doesn't get much sweeter than this! I'm in love!
We love you Mamo and are so glad you are home! You have been in our prayers for a while now! So good to meet you!
Visit Payne Family Blessings to see more pictures and to read more about their amazing journey to get Mamo!

New Year's Eve--Dodd Squad vs. Sharp Bunch

We enjoyed New Year's Eve with my sister's family...Family Game Night Style--Dodd Squad vs. Sharp Bunch!

We jammed on Rock Band...(at least Sam thought he was)

We danced to Just Dance For Kids! Yes, it was for kids so we had fun doing the hamster dance and other kiddy dances. I love dancing so any dancing is fun! At least I can say I danced the night away! I think my resolution is to dance more this year!

Cousin love...

Claire playing the cup stacking game. These Minute to Win It games were so much fun!

Go Uncle Dave...

Trying to stack 5 apples and balance them for 3 seconds...all in a minute!

Go David...

I love her effort! Can you tell how hard she is trying with that tongue sticking out?

The object of this last game was to blow the cups off the table using the air from your balloon.

You just had to be there but we laughed so hard at the balloon game and this guy right here...

What a fun night!

Happy 2011! Wishing us all the BEST EVER!

Christmas Day

We had a wonderful Christmas! It truly was a great day of happiness! I just love Christmas and look forward to it every year!

Of course, Santa came...

Sam was happy but he just didn't get it. He watched the big kids and slowly made his way throug his stuff! Isn't he a cutie?! You can see that he loved his anywhere chair...

The UT jersey Logan asked Santa for...

The Paper Jams were a big hit!

Happy Christmas morning!

Ripping into presents! Thank you Aunt Sally for this great fire truck to play with!

This might have been Logan's favorite gift of the morning...A BB GUN from PawDaddy! Thank you PawDaddy!

Again, thank you PawDaddy! Addie was so excited to pull these shoes out of her gift from you!

Addie asked Santa for accessories and that is what this girl got...and then some! So, we put it all together to make Fancy Nancy...

Her Daddy wouldn't have too much of the fancy so he took care of that! Meet Fancy Nancy with a BB gun...

We headed over to Nand and Pop's house to spend the rest of the day! It made for a great day!

This picture captures Addie's personality BEST...

The kids made Nana a jewelry box. They were so proud!

We actually stopped to take a picture together...

Sam was all smiles at Nana and Pop's...especially in these cool glasses...

Love this boy's sweet smile!!!!!

Even though I didn't catch this pose in a smile, he really was smiling the biggest while playing with these nesting blocks! Thank you Aunt Tonya...he loves them!

I'm always sad when Christmas is over but all good things must come to an end! Lots of happy memories were made this year!

Christmas with Grammy and Papa Skip

Mom and Skip came over on Christmas Eve to see the kids and give them their presents! Thank you Grammy and Papa Skip for everything! They also gave us a great gift of time as they kept our kiddos at their house for 2 nights. What a treat!

This little girl absolutely LOVED the tutu Grammy gave to her! It couldn't be any more perfect!

Twas the night before Christmas...

The Dodd Squad went to the childrens' service at church where we sang Happy Birthday to Jesus and ate birthday cake. How cool is that!?!?
Addie and Mommy made monkey bread for breakfast on Christmas morning...

The kiddos opened up their Christmas Eve presents which happen to be jammies...
And we spent some time getting ready for Santa, leaving cookies, feeding the reindeer, and reading special stories by the tree...
Now two excited parents wait as their sweet kiddos fall fast asleep. There is LOTS of work to be done!!!!
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL AND TO ALL A GOOD NIGHT!!!!!
