Hummingbirds!

I forgot to post these with the river pictures but I wanted to be sure to share these pictures. Mom put two hummingbird feeders out this year and they have LOTS of hummingbirds coming to visit. We counted at least twelve and they really have no fear of humans. It was very entertaining to watch them dive in and out, up and down. The kids really loved it too!

Weekend at the River

We went to visit my parents, Grammy and Papa Skip, a couple of weekends ago and we had a BLAST! It has taken me way too long to get these pictures on the blog but I finally did! Be looking for some more really soon as we are headed back over the river and through the woods very soon! We can't wait!

We have been debating about buying a new car or not because we always feel like we need more space. However, we were very impressed that we managed to get all of the kids, plus Sadie (the dog), and all of our stuff packed comfortably in the Durango. We only had one thing strapped to the top. Here is how we ride...


I made Skip his favorite for his BIG birthday...banana pudding...it was YUMMY! Here is Papa Skip (Sam) with Baby Sam. Yes, we named our dear sweet baby after this amazingly sweet, fantastic, and goofy man!!

Addie and Logan at Little Lake having fun with their Daddy. This is a very pretty and quiet lake that is at the bottom of the hill behind my parent's house. It makes for more fun and great fishing!

Logan DRIVING the boat...

Sam's first boat ride was a success. We took him out on Friday evening hoping for a calm and peaceful ride. We got it! We even beached the boat and had dinner on the river. It was a very enjoyable evening!

And then there was the next day when Addie and Logan got to get Superman ice cream (what I used to always get at this same little store when I was little) and go play in the river all day...

And now for the highlight of the weekend...

Logan fished in a fishing tournament with David, Papa Skip, and his buddy Junior. He was able to defend his title again with the biggest bass out of the kids.

Here he is with his trophy and a new fishing pole...WOO HOO!!!

Look at this silly little girl! She loves to dance and was excited to hear some Karaoke!

We went for a hike in the woods. Logan loved it!

And as for our Little Miss Priss, she also loves to get outside and get dirty too. I love that about her! She loves worms, frogs, and even slugs (YUCK!!!!!)!

Happy Father's Day!

Daddy...you are the best! You always make us giggle and squeel with excitement. We love your hugs and kisses! Mommy always says she wishes she could be as silly as you! We are so proud and happy to be your kids! Happy Father's Day!

I took some pictures of the kiddos around the house to give to David for Father's Day. We got some cute ones but trying to photograph 3 squirmy, silly kids can create for high stress levels, especially on a HOT summer day!

We also want to wish a Happy Father's Day to our Pop, Papa Skip, and Paw-Daddy! We love you all very much and are so thankful for all the smiles you bring to our lives!

2 months

This is better late than never but Sam was 2 months old on the 2oth. I took this picture on the 20th but just haven't gotten around to putting it on the blog. Time is just flying by with our sweet little Sam! He is still as sweet as ever and sleeping through the night, most of the time. He weighs 11 lbs. 6 oz. and is 23 inches long. He LOVES to watch his big brother and sister run around him and act silly. He especially loves to be outside. When he gets fussy, I can step outside on our front porch and swing him on our porch swing. Like magic, he gets quiet and just starts looking around. Sam loves to smile at us, especially when he is on the changing table and he will give Daddy a good giggle. David has always been the one to get our babies giggling. I just don't know what it is! Sam is a sweet, snuggly little guy and he is still bringing us so much joy!
